Hugo Distler's Totentanz alternates choral movements with spoken dialogues between Death and the people he comes to fetch. Here the work is performed with the actor Turid Rivertz Vatne and combined with Leonhard Lechner's Deutsche Sprüche von Leben und Tod, two works by Per Nørgård and J.S. Bach's motet Komm, Jesu, komm.
